I grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma and graduated from Booker T. Washington high school. I attended Trinity University and Brooks Institute of Photography, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Photography. I worked on a cruise ship in the Carribbean, ran sound for a get-rich-quick traveling seminar group, and watched the ski lifts at Heavenly ski resort at Lake Tahoe. I spent a few years fixing computer networks for Alliance Coal in Tulsa, and built a hugely expensive e-commerce network for the now-defunct Driveway.com in San Francisco. When technology crashed in 2001, I went to work for the University of California at Santa Barbara, and managed their residential computer network for a couple years. Besides Tulsa, I’ve lived in San Antonio, TX, Santa Barbara, CA, Stateline, NV, San Francisco, CA, and Oakland, CA.

Today I help manage my family’s manufacturing business in Tulsa and own a computer services company called SixByte. I volunteer for Burning Man and Animal Aid of Tulsa, and am on the Youth Board at All Souls Unitarian Church. I live in Tulsa with my girlfriend, Shannon Thomas, and my old dog, Thunder.
